About company
As a state-recognized private school, the Karl-Müchler-Schule has offered a successful, individualized alternative to the state school system for over 35 years. In small classes, we specifically prepare for the Abitur and the technical college entrance qualification.
The Karl-Müchler-School works on the basis of the constitutional right to the free development of the personality and the requirement to respect and protect human dignity.
The school-based learning of our students should enable them to act in various social fields.
Especially
to act responsibly and judicially as a citizen
for self-determination of personal lifestyle
on training ability in economic employment systems
to the ability to study
on cooperative and tolerant behavior
to safeguard rights and obligations
To this end, we have set five main goals in our school program:
We demand and promote professional skills .
We enable social interaction .
We develop and strengthen life skills .
We open our school to cooperation with parents and extracurricular institutions .
The teachers act competently and student-oriented .
Classes are held exclusively by qualified teachers with a second state examination in accordance with the applicable guidelines of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, which stipulate binding teaching content and subjects.
The lessons should not only address the students cognitively, but also meet their emotional and manual-practical needs.
The principle of differentiation is the core of the educational work in order to be able to counter a performance gap and possibly existing learning obstacles. In this way, optimal support for the individual students is possible and a high level of motivation is achieved by avoiding excessive or insufficient demands.
The acquisition of technical skills is based on the core curricula. It is supplemented by the promotion of method and media skills. This enables pupils to organize their learning independently and, as is necessary in today's world, to develop learning strategies that they need to ensure lifelong learning.
