Baby & children's swimming in the St. Gertrauden Hospital Your baby can take part in our swimming courses as early as the third month of life, although the word "swimming" should not be taken too seriously. Rather, it's about your baby gaining confidence in the wet element and being able to develop in a playful way. At the same time, very well-trained trainers ensure lots of fun in the water during the courses and give you and your baby lots of suggestions and instructions so that your child quickly feels comfortable in the water and can thus develop his motor and cognitive skills. In addition, baby swimming promotes self-confidence and mutual bond with your child. In addition to baby swimming, we also offer parent-child and kids groups. It is not a basic requirement that your child has already participated in a baby swimming course. Every child is welcome and is integrated into the group individually. Our trainers inspire the little ones with a variety of toys, such as slides, swimming noodles or diving rings, and introduce the children to learning to swim using various educational steps. The focus is always on trust and lots of fun! We also offer swimming badge courses. In a casual and relaxed atmosphere, our trainers work with your children to develop the skills needed to achieve the various badges. Seahorses: To do this, you have to swim 25 meters and jump into the water from the edge of the pool. In addition, an object (e.g. a diving ring) must be pulled out of shoulder-deep water with your hands. Bronze badge: the bathing rules are queried for this badge. Swim 200 meters within a maximum of 15 minutes. In addition, there is a jump from a height of 1 meter and an object (e.g. diving ring) must be taken out with the hands from 2 meters deep water.
