The Alb buffalo are in the winter quarters in Meidelstetten. Thanks to the good weather in November the animals could stay on the pasture for a long time. And because unfortunately a lot of things are not going as usual this year, the pasture drive also took place on a small scale. Alb buffalo - "Bubalus albensis" "Buffalos are somehow like the elderly" ... just as stubborn, but also just as lovable. The buffaloes fit perfectly into the natural and cultural landscape of the Alb and do good landscape maintenance. The light-footed animals, despite their size, clean sloe and blackberry hedges, and eat thistles and nettles. No problem for the buffalo stomach. Studies show that the careful behavior of the buffalo gives some small plants a chance to grow in the first place. The farm is monitored by ABCERT in accordance with the EC organic standard.
