In our two largest business segments of building services and environmental engineering, we like to say that we provide everything but the bricks and mortar for any building or infrastructure project. In today’s digital age, that includes data monitoring and management systems as well as the Internet of Things, connecting digital devices with networks. We are moving fast down the path of digital innovation in all of our disciplines and intend to move faster still. Quality, Safety and Environment At ATAL, quality, safety and environment are paramount and have long been embedded in our core corporate values. Over the decades, we have left no stone unturned to foster a culture of quality, safety and environment, so that our entire corporate family understands the value we place on the safety, health and well-being of each of our colleagues, workers and stakeholders, the quality of our products and services and total customer satisfaction, and the minimum environmental impact arising from the work processes. ATAL has met requirements for the most exacting international management standards, including ISO 9001:2015 for our quality management system; ISO 45001:2018 for occupational health and safety management; and ISO 14001:2015 for our environmental management system. To achieve the high standard of safety and accident prevention, we have designed and implemented a sound, comprehensive and integrated quality, safety and environmental management system. By adopting a holistic approach of promoting safety culture, we provide regular training courses and seminars for all levels of our workforce, share the best safe working practices and develop innovative technologies and handy safety devices to enable work safety on sites. Our management undertakes regular site visits and gives recognition to outstanding employees to encourage best practices and top performance. As a result, our workplace accident rates in Hong Kong and Macau are substantially lower than the industry average, a testament to the effectiveness of our system.
