We love our work and our farm and what we do. We have been running our farm as a registered organic farm out of conviction since 2002. With us you can shop where agriculture is carried out according to Bioland® guidelines as self-producers and processors. (Organic farms are regularly subject to strict controls) Chickens, cows, a dog, cats and of course we live together in a relaxed atmosphere on our organic farm Langeloh. Our animals have plenty of exercise and are kept in a species-appropriate manner. They only grow up with good food. Our cows are completely out on the pasture from spring to autumn and can also go outside all year round - even in winter. We grow the fodder ourselves for our animals such as: grass clover, green rye, spring barley and maize. If that is not enough, we buy feed from the area from an organic feed dealer. Genetic engineering - not with us Because there is much more to organic than animal welfare. Where does the food come from? How is it grown? How much is the environment polluted? We work with the natural cycle, because organic farmers work with nature and not against it - so that our environment will also be worth living in for people in the future. It is important to us "to know where it comes from" and that is why REGIONAL is NOT enough! Only organic avoids pesticides and nitrates on your own doorstep. For the ecological footprint and your own health, it is not only important where the food is produced, but also how. "WE HAVE NOT INHERITED THE EARTH FROM OUR PARENTS BUT BORROWED FROM OUR CHILDREN." (Indian wisdom) We are part of the Hamfelder Hof farming community, where we also deliver our milk. We keep our chickens, which we obtain from Bioland breeder Jens Bodden, in our chicken mobile directly opposite our sales house. 2 times 300 chickens live here in stalls that move with you every week, so that the chickens always have fresh green available.
