In 1988, Hans Hofbauer founded the electrical installation company of the same name, based in the 18th district of Vienna. Even then, the company founder recognized that not only high-quality branded products are crucial for success, but above all their perfect interaction with other components and systems. His innovative approach still applies today and sums up the uniqueness of the small company with six employees. That is why Hans Hofbauer focused on strong brands such as Siedle and the constant professional development of its employees from the very beginning.
Then as now, Electronics Hofbauer is all about creative and innovative customer solutions. Regardless of whether the private home or a company should be designed safely and comfortably. Initially, the focus was on the installation of ventilation and air conditioning systems as well as lighting and intercom systems, but the portfolio soon expanded to include security technology. Founder Hans Hofbauer thus found his own niche, because only a few companies had the know-how and experience to install complex security systems at the time. From alarm and video systems to fire protection and access systems, Elektronik Hofbauer was soon seen in the industry as a guarantee of quality and competence from a single source.
In 1995 the company expanded its field of activity to the automation of buildings. Due to the relevant technical expertise, large companies commissioned Electronics Hofbauer with the demanding installation of complex data rooms for telecommunications and Internet providers throughout Austria.
Hans Hofbauer has been a member of the Vienna State Guild since 1998. First as a representative of the professional group alarm systems, later as a professional group chairman of the regional guild of Vienna and the federal guild. He taught at the WIFI and Kuratorium für Elektrotechnik and devoted himself intensively to the training of apprentices and accompanied them in the completion of their journeyman's and master's examination.
The family company, which is currently based in the 23rd district of Vienna, is now being run by the second generation of daughter Barbara. Barbara Hofbauer, who learned the trade of electrical engineering from the bottom up on her father's side, slipped into her father's footsteps. Together with an experienced team of long-standing employees, she is available to help customers with questions and problems.
