The origin of our restaurant dates back to 1960, when a young Belarmino Fernández Blanco, founder of Marisquería Perlora , began to conceive a dream ... to take to other places the cuisine that he knew perfectly from its origins.
His great dream came true in 1965 with the opening of a restaurant in Madrid, in a small central location in the capital located on Calle Magdalena 40, very close to the emblematic squares of Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor in Madrid, where offering its Asturian cuisine and the seafood from its native land to all Madrid residents and visitors to this beautiful city.
From the beginning it was clear to him what the name of his restaurant would be, « Marisquería Perlora «, in tribute to Perlora beach, a town located between the town of Candás and Gijón, which had marked him on a vacation a few years earlier.
