Fein und Ripp

In a disused factory on the Swabian Alb, countless textiles slumbered for decades in a deep slumber. All of them unworn, in their original packaging and forgotten. When we walked through this same factory in 2008 and rummaged through 80-year-old cardboard boxes with big eyes, we realized pretty quickly that we had stumbled upon a treasure. At that moment we had no idea what would result from this and how our careers and professional lives would all change. In December 2010 we finally opened our store “fein und ripp” in Kastanienallee. Since then we have been selling unworn treasures from bygone times with a lot of heart and soul. Ninety-year-old button placket shirts from Germany, eighty-year-old workers' suits from Sweden as well as high-quality clothes made with great attention to detail in the style of the twenties and thirties.
