Pisco Lunas comes from the original region of Pisco from the traditional Casa Sotelo in Ica. Pisco Lunas is an Acholado, a blend, a cuvee of a special kind, because the combination of the different grape varieties. Five Peruvian grape variety give Pisco Lunas its soul: Quebranta (50%), Torontel (30%), Italia (10%), Moscatel (5%) and Albilla (5%).
Torontel, Italia, Moscatel and Albilla give Aroma, Quebranta the body. The aromatic vines create a floral and fruity note: lime, lemon, orange peel, tangerine, peach and honey. Quebranta serves Pisco Lunas with nuts, almonds, pecans, bananas, geranium and chocolate and donates some hearty notes: green olive, sea algae, but also a hint of mango and apple. During production, the sugar is completely fermented, so that Pisco Lunas contains intensity and a strong character.
Pisco Lunas is crystal clear and bright. Its smell touches the nose with an intense sensation. The aromatic vines Italia and Torontel develop vigorously. Full of intensity, the lips are touched by Pisco Lunas. In the mouth and palate, its aroma composition is distributed symmetrically. All his notes are unfolding. The character of the Quebranta with its dry touch completes the taste experience. A few seconds after the finish, the intensity evaporates and the taste of blond vines remains.
